Once the Color Editor screen is open, go back to the Converter Box screen and double-click on a design to open it in the Color Editor program:

picineditor.jpg (46756 bytes)

The on-screen colors used in the design are shown at the lower left-hand corner of the screen. Clicking on one of these colors will bring up a color selection screen:

selectcolor.jpg (29177 bytes)

Clicking on a color on this screen will replace the original color with the new one. You can also change the Palette Type to a different machine, by clicking on the arrow at the end of the "Palette Type" line:

palettetype.jpg (9499 bytes)

Once you have adjusted the colors to how you want them, click File, then Save to move the updated design with the new colors back to the Converter Box screen (note: for this example, only the Seal has been changed):

updatedcolors.jpg (36321 bytes)

Once you have all the designs the way you want them, you are ready to write to the card. Make sure you have a blank (or writable) card that will work in your machine in the correct Magic Box slot (in this case, the Babylock/Brother/Viking card). You can double-check this by making sure the correct letters are lit up underneath "Write Card":

If you are writing to a specific type of card (for example, Brother, instead of Viking), you will need to click the correct letter (Viking=V, Brother & Babylock=B), after which you will receive this message:

overwrite.jpg (9662 bytes)

Click YES and the card writing process will begin:
